Monday, November 9th, 2009
It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a year since I sat in Ali Brown’s Online Success Blueprint Workshop and applied for her elite $100,000 diamond mentorship program.
This past weekend at Ali’s SHINE event, I sat on stage as part of Ali’s diamond success panel and couldn’t stop the tears from flowing as I thought about the past year and how happy I was to be sitting there as a symbol of hope for the hundreds of women in the audience.
Only a year ago, I was so confused about my identity. Mommy blogger? Lawyer? TV personality? Author? CEO? Something else entirely that I couldn’t even see yet?

Happy BIRTHday to the Nov 99 Moms Like Me!
Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009
Ten years ago I was heavily preggo with my daughter, living back in my hometown of Miami for one year while I clerked for Judge Peter T. Fay on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
I had just graduated law school was newly married and despite living where I grew up, really didn’t have any “in real life” friends. The few friends I did have in high school were long gone. And, at only 25, no one else I knew was pregnant yet.
So, I made friends online.
