You  have a contradiction at the very basis. Either you're with Him or not. You're distorting a life-saving teaching and it is dangerous for yourself, first of all. I don't think you realize what is at stake. This is dishonest in its foundation. Christ was honest. I suggest you do a long process of research and see for yourself what I'm talking about. ]]> Comment on How Christ Consciousness Makes Your Every Day Life Better by Alexis Neely http://www.alexismartinneely.com/how-christ-consciousness-makes-your-every-day-life-better/comment-page-1/#comment-4561 Alexis Neely Fri, 27 Jan 2012 01:46:00 +0000 http://www.alexismartinneely.com/?p=3723#comment-4561 Ruth, I appreciate your perspective, but Corina was not hired by me, she was hired by a gal I was working with for a short time, specifically to work under her.  When Rachel decided to move on, Corina was exploring the possibly of going into partnership with me, Anna and Corey (my long time biz managers) and continued to do some work (at what appears to me to be a very low level) while we negotiated that agreement.  I believe Corina's negativity and poor attitude resulted in that agreement not moving forward.  Nevertheless, I have agreed to pay Corina for the amount Rachel agreed upon, even though I did not benefit from her work in anyway and it in fact cost me time and energy to go back and fix what she did not do correctly.  I will pay Corina (even though I did not hire her, did not benefit from the work she did, feel that her negative attitude cost me time and money and she has quit without notice on me twice before) when the company has the resources to do so.  As of right now, we are in rebuilding phase and the company only has resources to support its current employees and vendors. The company is not even paying me at this time. If you or Corina would like to appear on my show (every Tuesday at 10am PT) to discuss this matter, we would be happy to host you and hash this issue out publicly.    And Ruth I understand you have only heard Corina's perspective on this and she is your daughter, so of course you would feel the way you do.  But have you considered that it is perhaps Corina's karma that has created the situation as it is?  I invited Corina to live in my home, employed her three times despite her quitting twice without notice and handling an event for me poorly and have always encouraged her to speak her truth, communicate directly and ask for what she wants.  I have never treated her with anything but kindess, love and respect.  I wish the same in return.The situation is as it is right now and it's not how I would want it to be either, but I can assure you that handling it like this will not get any of us what we want.  I invite you to another possibility. Getting clearer is about being more aware, relaxing, paying attention. Much of what you say has a ring to me of someone who hasn't become very clear yet and still has a lot to learn.  And sometimes that means staying quiet until things have gotten a little more in focus for me. The concept of forgiveness has been largely forgotten, I believe, in this day and age.  Could you maybe write a blog post, speaking as a lawyer, about how forgiveness/Christ Consciousness ties in with the excessive litigation/lawsuits we see in society? How have you reconciled your litiguous profession/legal training and your embrace of Christ consciousness?
